The difference between the RaceFONE and RaceFONE2:

RaceFONE - the RaceFONE uses our "flexible boom" type microphone and will fit "most" Full and 3/4 (open face) helmets. (Can be used with Full and 3/4 Face helmets)

RaceFONE2 - the RaceFONE2 uses our "DMS" (detachable microphone system) type microphone. The DMS Mic was developed for use with Full Face helmets only. The RaceFONE2, with it's DMS microphone is widely used is on modular type helmets that need to have the Communicator mounted slightly further back on the helmet in order not to interfere wth the "hinge mechanisim". (Can only be used with Full Face helmets

RACE FONE is designed with the latest 900Mhz technology and lets you talk to other riders (up to 2 miles) on 3 super clear 900Mhz channels (including private RaceFONE Sportbike channel).

Unlike, as with Scala Rider type systems where only 2 riders can use the system, with RaceFONE you can have as many riders "on a channel" as you like... no maximum number, everyone hears and communicates with each other. With the RaceFONE you will also wirelessly, via Bluetooth, receive both phone calls and Streaming Stereo from your cell phone, Bluetooth enabled MP3 player or talking GPS.
